What is the Move-A-Thon?
Join us for the Head and Neck Cancer Move-A-Thon. (You can Move, Miles, Hours, or however you choose to move) Set your personal goal to whatever you choose, or you can move 68 (miles, hours, or whatever) for the 68,000 diagnosed Annually, during the month of April or start moving today!
Head and Neck Cancer Alliance is hosting its very first National Event to make an impact in the lives of Cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and families. Is there something you love to do? (Walking, swimming, riding(bike, motorcycle, or horse to name a few), knitting, singing, painting, driving, talking, swinging, rappelling, pickleball, tennis, golfing, cooking…and the list goes on). We would love for you to share that love and move with us in the month of April while raising funds to make a difference.
The pupose of this event is to celebrate survivors, give hope to those presently in treatment, and honor those that we have lost. We need your help to advance the work with prevention, detection, treatment, and rehabilitation of oral, head and neck cancer through public awareness, research, advocacy, and survivorship. All proceeds from this event will go to Head and Neck Cancer Alliance programs, including Gas Card Program, Screening Program, Peer to Peer Program, Ambassador Program, Patient Education and Research.
