MOVE-A-THON CELEBRATION
JASON WHITE OF GREEN DAY JOINS US

Join HNCA for a FREE Move-A-Thon celebration event featuring Green Day's Jason White. Jason, a survivor of tonsil cancer, will be performing several of his signature songs (live on Zoom) to thank the many 2023 Move-A-Thon participants and honor all patients and survivors of head and neck cancers. Additionally, Jason will be discussing his cancer journey with his oncologist and HNCA board member Dr. Sue Yom.
This event is free to attend but does require registration/RSVP.
The link to the Zoom meeting will be emailed out to everyone who has RSVP'd on April 27th - keep an eye out for it in your email!

This April, we invite you to move with us for our inaugural national Head and Neck Cancer (HNCA) Move-A-Thon. Help us raise funds and awareness for head and neck cancers by setting a personal "move" goal. Maybe you'll decide to move 68 miles, or for 68 hours in honor of the 68,000 people diagnosed with head and neck cancers every year - or it could be any other goal that you chose! You can make a difference in the lives of cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and families!
Is there something you love to do? You don't need to be an athlete to particpate in our Move-a-Thon. Choose an activity you enjoy! It could be walking, swimming, riding a bike or a horse, knitting, singing, painting, driving, dancing, playing with your kids, walking the dog, pickleball, tennis, golfing, cooking - choose your own adventure!
Lock arms with us to celebrate survivors, give hope to those presently in treatment, and honor those that we have lost. We need your help to advance the work with prevention, detection, treatment, and rehabilitation of oral, head, and neck cancer through public awareness, research, advocacy, and survivorship. All proceeds from this event will go to Head and Neck Cancer Alliance programs, including our Gas Card program, Screening program, Peer to Peer program, Ambassador program, and patient education and research.
