Get your Move-A-Thon "swag" here!

2026 MOVE-A-THON SHIRTS

Ready to get your “move” on? The 2026 Move-A-Thon swag is now available for purchase!

Shirts are through our print-on-demand store and generally arrive in about a week.

Note: If you would like to order a “team” version of the shirt, please contact us. Customized team shirts require a minimum order of 10 and will feature the team name across the top of the graphic.

We’ve added yard signs this year as a simple way to show support and raise awareness for head and neck cancer. Use them to promote your Move-A-Thon team, increase visibility in your community, and start conversations. They also work well at event check-ins, walking routes, and gathering areas.

Choose from general awareness or Move-A-Thon designs. Download print-ready files for a local printer (most affordable), or order through our store (about $20 per sign; shipping can double the cost). Priced at cost. If you use a sign, share a photo so we can highlight your impact.

Social Media Kit

Clicking the link above will allow you to access our social media kit on Sharepoint (free to access). This kit was created to assist Move-A-Thon participants in promoting their fundraising efforts on social media.  The guide includes a PDF document with suggested messages for social media and other ideas.  The kit also includes numerous graphics to download (you choose the ones you like or that fit your “movement”).

MOVE-A-THON FAQs

1. What is the Move-A-Thon?

It is an annual fundraising event organized by the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance to raise awareness and support for individuals affected by head and neck cancer. Participants are encouraged to engage in physical activities while raising funds to support our mission.

It’s held during the month of April which is Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month. Participants can register and start fundraising leading up to April, too (if you want).

To participate, visit our website to register as an individual or team. Once registered, you can set up a personal fundraising page and start raising funds and awareness by engaging in physical activities of your choice and sharing about it on social media.

Participants are encouraged to choose any physical activity that suits their interests and abilities. Whether it’s walking, running, cycling, yoga, or any other exercise, the goal is to move your body while raising awareness for head and neck cancer.

While participants have no specific fundraising goal, every contribution makes a difference in supporting our programs and initiatives. Participants are encouraged to set personal fundraising targets and engage their networks to reach their goals.

All proceeds go towards funding our programs, which help patients, survivors, and caregivers. We offer support services like our nurse navigator, gas card program, peer-to-peer mentor program, and our Inspire head and neck cancer community. We also offer many free webinars and educational events throughout the year, including our annual in-person (or virtual) Symposium.

Absolutely! The Move-A-Thon is inclusive, and individuals who cannot engage in physical activities can still participate by fundraising, spreading awareness, and supporting other participants in their efforts.

While the primary goal of the Move-A-Thon is to raise funds and awareness for head and neck cancer, participants may receive incentives or recognition based on their fundraising achievements. Details about incentives are provided on our website.

To start a team, choose “sign up as a team captain.” Then, fill out your team page and recruit others to join you. A great way to do this is to start a work team. Many employers have health and wellness programs and would likely support your efforts!

  • Ask your friends, family, or coworkers to join your team and MOVE in April!
  • Reach out to local businesses and ask them to sponsor your team or make a donation.
