Bill Lydiatt is CEO of Clarkson Institute, a healthcare nonprofit in Omaha, Nebraska. An internationally recognized expert in otolaryngology, Lydiatt is immediate past president and current Chair of the Nominating Service of the American Head and Neck Society; Chair of the AJCC 9th Edition Head and Neck Staging Core; and professor of surgery at Creighton University. He is former Chief Medical Officer at Nebraska Methodist Hospital.
Lydiatt received his Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University, his medical degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center where he also completed his residency in otolaryngology, and completed a post-residency fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He holds an EMBA in healthcare administration from the University of Colorado. He has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, books, and book chapters.
