Melissa Cooke, Patient Navigator
Melissa Cooke, Patient Navigator

We offer a dedicated Patient Navigator to support people affected by head and neck cancer.

The Patient Navigator responds to questions from patients, survivors, caregivers, and others in the community. The goal is to provide support, guidance, and trusted resources without giving medical advice.

What the Patient Navigator can help with

  • Answer questions about head and neck cancer support and resources
  • Help you find emotional, practical, and community support options
  • Connect you with reliable educational materials and Alliance programs
  • Share ideas for managing everyday challenges during diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship
  • Listen to concerns and offer encouragement and reassurance

Patient navigation focuses on helping people understand options, reduce confusion, and feel less alone. The role is about guidance and support, not clinical care.

What the Patient Navigator cannot do

  • Provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. For medical questions, you should always consult your health care provider.

Why This Support Matters

Head and neck cancer can feel overwhelming. The information, decisions, and day-to-day challenges add up quickly. A Patient Navigator gives you a consistent point of contact to help you find clarity, support, and trusted resources when you need them.
