Head and Neck Cancer Peer-To-Peer Program
Alliance is partnering with Imerman Angels (IA) to provide peer-to-peer support for the head and neck cancer community. Whether you are a patient, survivor, or caregiver, you have the opportunity to connect with someone to give or receive support.
Sometimes, one of the best therapies is just talking to someone who's been there.
Alliance and IA share the belief that no one should face cancer alone. Through this partnership, we match mentors who share similar cancer journeys with patients, survivors, and caregivers to provide one-on-one emotional support and compassion.
While we recognize that each cancer and life situation is unique, our goal is to connect patients, survivors and caregivers with “Mentor Angels” who’ve faced a similar experience. Mentor Angels give cancer fighters and caregivers the chance to ask personal questions and receive support from a peer who has been down the same road before.
We encourage you to register to be matched with a Mentor Angel or to volunteer to be a Mentor Angel. The process of receiving a match usually takes just a few days.

- After you complete the form, a connection specialist from Imerman Angels will contact you.

Having the experience over the past six years with a support group, I realized that cancer fighters, survivors, previvors and caregivers have much to share from the paths that they follow. The experiences, efforts and knowledge lift us all.
It is incredibly beneficial for a patient to connect with a head and neck cancer survivor through Imerman Angels. It confirms that you are not alone. Mentor Angels can provide solace, inspiration and support during your cancer journey.
