The Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week (OHANCAW) at the University of Miami will be holding a free community screening event at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine DOCS South Dade Health Fiar on April 18th from 8 AM – 3 PM. Participants will receive free screenings by UM Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery faculty and staff, along with education on risk factors and recommendations for follow-up care when appropriate. DOCS holds weekly student run clinics and monthly student run health fairs that provide screenings to underserved members in our Miami community.
