Oral Cancer Survival Rate Remains Unchanged Over the Last 30 Years

About 90% of people with oral cavity and oropharyngeal cancer use tobacco, and the risk of developing these cancers increases with the amount smoked or chewed and duration of the habit.

As part of our Mission to both educate and help those with Oral, Head and Neck Cancer, the Yul Brynner Foundation sponsors a series of events designed to both educate and increase awareness about Oral, Head and Neck Cancers. Oral, Head & Neck Cancer Awareness Week (OHANCAW) is the main event every year and we encourage everyone to participate.
